	Magic8Ball 06/09/10	I wish there were something I could do for them too. I feel like I should be doing something, but I don't know what. I worry about John, MJ and Lou but I am really concerned about Ann. I can't even imagine what she is going through right now. Thank goodness she has her family there with her.

	Magic8Ball 06/08/10	I know. I've been sick since I got the news. I mean, physically sick. I can't stop crying. I finally just took a big box of tissues to the office because I had to keep running to the breakroom to get napkins. And I can't sleep and I have frikkin bags under my eyes. It's like I told Robyn, I haven't completely accepted the news yet. I keep thinking I will see him on IM or he will pop in here with something clever or one of his poems. I know that is not going to happen. But like I said, I haven't really accepted this yet. I need to post something in that thread. But I'm not good at those kinds of things. And I want to give him the proper words he deserves. And just the thought of it is making me start to cry again...

	capnbarney 01/06/10	Two thousand ten. 2000 wasn't a good one to speak out loud. Adding on 'oh' before 1 through 9 worked. But now it's weird again until you get to the 20s... as in back in the 20s or 30s. You never hear 'back in the teens.' Maybe we should ask Al. :-D I hope all's well with you and your DD. We're in mid-winter form here... I shoveled 5 times over the past long weekend. It's relatively calm this week (so far). I see you guys have been getting some cold! Stay warm and keep rockin'.

	Magic Potion 01/05/10	Sure had me fooled! So what did you have in mind, a techsorcism? (Or, if done somewhat remotely, might that not be called a... textorcism)? Or are you suggesting that we should all begin referring now to a UPS-shipped computer as a... deliverance? Oh Hal, the devil's in the details. O.K., so if he (or she) didn't create it (I'll grant you that), than he (or she) has sure taken a byte out of MY apple (no offense to Microsoft and Bill Gates). It's been over a month now since my co-worker (they always promise more than they can "deliver") has had my lovely little self-inflicted, devil-infested machine, and, would you believe, he's STILL working on it. Hence... can't download music or rectify Astrology charts (don't start... I believe it's a God-given tool). So, yes, computers have always been both an unimaginable blessing and a frustrating curse for an over-curious explorer like myself who always seems to know just enough about a subject to get into deep, dark trouble; and, of course, the computer is the perfect vehicle to sometimes lead thee (as in me) astray. As for all the porn, fraud, spam & scam, etc., we just won't go there, but I still think its merits and downsides are open for debate. Nonetheless, short of atomic war, these irresistible, irrepressible little Tasmanians are here to stay, and have now become (for good or evil) part of our lives... a technological, information-flooding, impersonal communicative experience that we can no longer seem to live without (without completely dropping out, that is). Anyway, thanks so much for your concern, and... as always (of course) I tend to need your help so... please... if you would... keep my computer in your prayers, would you? (What is it about you that gets me going...)???

	Magic Potion 01/04/10	Interesting concept you've got going on there, Notyo; angels taking lessons on one of the Devil's own. Very Mark Twainish idea if I was to say so myself (which I believe I just did). This dreaded inferno they call the "computer" has the Prince of Darkness written all over it, and the very entity for whom we God-fearing people should all be praying for the most (but never seem to ever really do) is the one who NEEDS our help the most - the fallen angel himself, Satan! If angels have figured out a way to save Lucifer (and the rest of us) from the anguish & torment of his own making, then God Bless them, because I sure as hell haven't been able to. Hey... (Maybe you're on to something)!

Right now I'm having computer woes... dreadful problems really... that I can't seem to figure out and don't really have the mulah to pay someone else to do it for me. I've locked myself into a Catch-22 (all boxed-in in more ways than one... and not very hard to do with a computer) so I may have to completely reload. Want to wait until the smoke clears before I enter new domains (there must be SOME way out of this cyber box)! Stay in touch... - MP

	Magic Potion 11/05/09	So sorry for the rather long disconnect, but, no... not likely. I'm tired of moving and the finances just won't allow it even if I wanted to. But if I had my druthers, I would definitely want to live in a place like Brandywine, surrounded by beauty, nice environment, positive & conscious-minded natives, and lots of culture both modern and historical alike. So are YOU all done moving in??? I'M certainly not!
